about the band

Since packing up his car in Montreal and driving down to Austin, Texas, in 2023, Nico Little and his crew of rotating musicians (The North Americans) have sparked quite a fire in the rock and blues scene of the south.

In just two short years, Nico has been blessed to play or headline some of Texas’ most iconic venues, including Antone’s Nightclub, the Continental Club, Corpus Cristi Amphitheater, the Austin Long Center, and many more.

The band curates its sound from a combination of well-known Blues and Rock artists. Some of their biggest influences include

Stevie Ray Vaughn, Bachman-Turner Overdrive, Jimi Hendrix, Gary Clark Jr, Muddy Waters, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Grateful Dead, John Mayer, John Lee Hooker, ZZ Top, Lonnie Mack, and many more…

In 2025, international guitar phenom Rhys John Stygal joined the lineup. The combination of both young guitar players mixed with Nico’s enthralling songwriting has created a new lane for the band, while remaining consistent with the traditional rock and blues groundwork laid before them. This medley of sounds helps satisfy both the old and the new listeners alike.

Rhys' undeniable internet success (surpassing 20 million views already) has brought new eyes to the group. This momentum has helped fuel the boys as they set out to continue releasing guitar-driven songs.

the band has now played alongside the likes of music legends such as Buddy Guy, Gary Clark Jr., Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, and Kenny Wayne Shepherd, to name a few.
