Since relocating from Montreal to Austin, Texas in 2023, Nico Little and his rotating crew of musicians, The North Americans, have made a fast impact on the South's rock and blues scene — headlining iconic Texas venues including Antone's Nightclub, the Continental Club, and the Austin Long Center. They performed at Ottawa BluesFest in July 2026. Drawing on influences ranging from Stevie Ray Vaughan and Jimi Hendrix to the Grateful Dead and ZZ Top, the band blends deep blues-rock roots with a sound all their own. In 2025, guitarist Rhys John Stygal — whose viral clips have topped 20 million views — joined the lineup, adding a new dual-guitar energy alongside Nico's songwriting. The band has since shared stages with Buddy Guy, Gary Clark Jr., Christone "Kingfish" Ingram, guitarist Rhys John Stygal, and Kenny Wayne Shepherd.
